Worked under the ex VP Admin (currently am the VP Admin) to plan and implement the current
interactive and engaging website for UBC SISU. The website has been developed through
WordPress, with the design process starting with loose wireframing exercises with the brand to
a published interactive prototype with active user feedback.
Since WordPress and similar platforms come with many limitations, it was exciting to be able to
learn how to work with the given tools to create a visually appealing and interactive website that
was consistent with the clubs brand and social platforms. Many additional elements added post
editing on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and using HTML and SEO in collaboration with
preexisting WordPress tools, like ones in order to add interactive maps etc.
With increase in traction to the website, am currently working actively on gathering feedback
from users and the SISU team in order to implement more responsive elements iteratively.
