I've been in the film industry for 7 years, starting as a Digital Utility, then an Assistant Camera, and working my way up to a Camera Operator and Cinematographer. To me, being a Director of Photography is more than just shooting; I see myself as a filmmaker. Through my time in the industry, I've worked on various TV and movie projects. I've handled studio production cameras like SONY Venice, Alexas, and REDs, along with gear like MOVI Freefly and Ronins. I've been a Camera Operator on big-budget shows like The Best Man: The Final Chapters (Peacock) and SWAGGER (Apple TV), working on dolly, handheld, and crane setups. I'm also a certified Underwater Camera Operator, filming scenes in places like Mauritius, Maui, Dominican Republic, California, and North Carolina. At the same time, I've taken on solo projects as a DP, including an award-winning thesis film, "Molly Robber" (Tribeca, 2021) a music video in a river, a documentary on a South Dakota rodeo, and a commercial for Wildfang featuring an alpaca. Recently, I worked on the indie feature ROCKBOTTOM starring Jake Bongiovi. I have experience in getting by with smaller budgets and less time to still create eye-catching captivating products. I’ve been a one-person crew, working with natural light and small camera set-ups using my FX3 on my Ronin RS3 Pro, and I have led small crews to achieve big things working with professional gear, such as when we had multiple car mounts and towing shots in Molly Robber. With my diverse experience across different roles and projects, I can take the lead in executing projects while navigating practical challenges on set. Whether that means I’m producing and directing on top of operating the camera, or running a crew of professionals to achieve someone else’s vision, I always want to be on set.
