In my decades of agency and client-side creative practice, I have helped brands tell their stories through evolving mediums—pitching, concepting and leading productions for top-tier clients like Apple, Microsoft and Amazon. I am adept at blending storytelling, visual choreography, and technical acumen to drive emotional impact for audiences across diverse channels. At Nelson, Canada’s largest educational publisher, I co-created a digital education platform for K–12 and provided its creative oversight from pre-beta to 500,000 users—each with their own range of channels and customer journeys. I designed and produced motion prototypes for UX journeys and UI components, as well as motion systems for promotional videos and team templates. My recent efforts have streamlined internal workflows via a Figma brand portal, serving as source of truth for multiple teams at all points along the product lifecycle, with asset and motion templates, as well as creative guidance, for Product, Marketing and Sales. My creative direction experience at Ayzenberg included game branding creative for the Elder Scrolls by Bethesda Softworks, as well as campaigns for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Education and Surface Pro—including pitching creative, parsing data and strategy, shepherding concepts through live action and CG production vendors, and delivery for TV commercials and digital ad units. While at ONE+K, I led creative for Apple Computer’s library of broadcast brand template systems, ranging from user-generated videos for the iLife software suite, to fully-fledged broadcast systems shipping with Apple Pro Apps, including Apple Motion. This work continues to be seen across thousands of personal and high-visibility video brand systems to this day. Also in partnership with Apple, I led creative for the video branding systems for the emerging suite of iTunes Original content, including extensive systems for opens, chapters, lower-thirds and credits across a with range of artists. My broadcast package work has included the most highly-rated program on SpikeTV, and packages for NatGeo and E! Network. My hands-on proficiency includes a decades-long level of mastery with the Adobe Creative Suite. My direction and animation work in After Effects have brought promotions for Disney to life, and served as a basis for working with Apple on their Motion animation software. My editing work began on the AVID at Brand X Filmworks under the mentorship of director Chris McKay (”The Tomorrow War,” “Renfield”), initiating my own career in cinematic storytelling and audio-visual craft. That work continues in last year’s feature “Feeling Randy” by Criterion director Dean Lent, which I edited, providing final color grade and all visual effects.
