Seventeen years helping product businesses turn marketing activity into profitable revenue. I connect product selection, pricing, margin, stock, marketplace operations, advertising, conversion and reporting—so growth is judged by commercial return rather than platform metrics. I assess commercial viability before spend, build or repair the marketplace and advertising engine, and put pricing, stock, operations and measurement in place to scale without allowing revenue growth to hide declining margin.

From Wasted Ad Spend to £2.80m in Annual Revenue
I worked with a UK industrial ecommerce retailer from 2019 to 2025, starting fractionally before becoming the sole in-house marketer and later a retained consultant. On day one, I found around £25,000 a year of Google Ads spend being wasted on irrelevant searches. I stopped it immediately, rebuilt the account and focused every decision on money in versus money out. Over the engagement, I managed the full commercial chain across demand, advertising spend, traffic, conversion, sales and repeat business. This included rebuilding Google Ads, launching Amazon Ads from scratch, improving marketplace performance and moving two outdated ecommerce websites to Shopify. Business revenue grew from £1.57m to £2.78m, while gross profit increased from £454,000 to £911,000. Google Ads revenue reached £743,000 in the final year, with ROAS rising from 3.1x to 4.1x while spend nearly trebled. Amazon Ads generated £1.15m in lifetime attributed revenue at a 4.94% advertising cost of sales. In the final year, the business generated £2.80m in revenue from £255,000 in total ad spend. That was £10.94 back for every £1 spent, blended. Figures are taken from platform reports and management accounts. ppc googleads seo growth marketing
