I’m Michael L. Hill, a 35+ year industry veteran passionate about technology. I hold a bachelor’s degree in ministry and worship arts. My background spans engineering, system design, and consulting. I’ve served on church staff as technical director, audio director, and worship pastor. Today I serve as A1 at FBC Carrollton, TX, and as a voiceover artist and AI translation engineer translating materials from English into Portuguese, Spanish, and Arabic.
I’ve been an audio consultant for Air Force Entertainment, written curriculum for Christ for the Nations, and served as Adjunct Professor in the Worship and Technical Arts degree program. I’ve worked in sales and training for brands like Sennheiser, Turbosound, Midas, Allen & Heath, Tannoy, and Lab Gruppen. I’m founder of Live Worship Academy and Director of Content. I help artistic and technical people grow by teaching the technical and worship theology behind it. My training materials are being translated into Portuguese and Spanish. I have experience with in-person training, video/online instruction, podcasting, system design, project management, event management, RF coordination, touring, FOH mixing, camera directing, system tuning/commissioning, and show producer/caller voice-over artist.
