This is one of my training projects. I was tasked to search for music with no copyrights that will fit the climate of short film advertisement. By editing music I maintained rhythm and tempo of music in sync with video. I tried to show the emotions and action of actors. I also aded some effects that summarise this project.

My task was to make a full post-production for a Short Film made by student from Katowice Film School - director Klara Morawiecka. I started with. adding atmospheres then I moved to cleaning of production sound. I used many techniques to enhance the sound. By finalising this part of post-production, I knew that some effects must be added. So I recorded them in foley studio and synchronised with video material. Last part of the job was to add music that is an important part of this movie. There were two paths to go to. One was to think of the music as a narrator from off stage or making it as a in picture “actor”. I managed two combine both of them by mixing them in imperceptible way. At the end I had to mix it to stereo.
That’s how I made sound for this movie and what is my normal path of working with professional audio.

My role was to closely collaborate with motion graphic designer and make a minimalistic, but realistic sound design for animation. After few takes we discovered that it will be needed to compose music. That’s why I added this simple, but energetic synthesiser pattern that glued whole project. Whole process took me around 3-4 weeks of creative work!
