Hello!
I’m Mig, a dedicated audio post engineer, sound recordist and composer based in Melbourne. I work across various creative media including long and short form drama, documentary, web series, commercials and theatrical productions.
Collaborating with fellow artists and technicians to help shape stories with sound and music is an incredible job I look forward to every day.
I have a strong musical background and write songs that infuse found sounds with folk and electronic instruments. Both in songwriting and in film, I’ve found that sound vital in conveying emotion.
When I’m not working on film and multimedia projects, you’ll often find me experimenting with new audio techniques or exploring the beautiful landscapes around Melbourne with my partner. I’m always eager for new challenges that push the boundaries of sound design and music to help tell a story.
