Dara’s Muddy Day is a project by author Adina Veres, telling the heartwarming story of the bond between her beloved dog, Dara, and her niece. Since the characters are based on real people and a real pet, I paid close attention to capturing their likeness and maintaining consistency throughout the book. My role included children’s book illustration, character development, layout, and formatting. One of the key challenges was preparing the final files according to Amazon KDP’s printing guidelines while ensuring the artwork remained visually cohesive and publication-ready. illustrator designer childrenbook

Hold On is a coming-of-age debut novel by Pakistani author Naveed Iftikhar. I had the opportunity to work on the cover illustration for this wonderful project. The client’s initial idea was to visually capture a glimpse of Hira’s journey from the beginning of her story to its conclusion through a composition that brought together key elements of her experiences. We explored several concepts before refining them into the final direction, ultimately creating a visual that fused the strongest elements of each idea.
