    Dara’s Muddy Day is a project by author Adina Veres, telling the heartwarming story of the bond between her beloved dog, Dara, and her niece. Since the characters are based on real people and a real pet, I paid close attention to capturing their likeness and maintaining consistency throughout the book. My role included children’s book illustration, character development, layout, and formatting.     Hold On is a coming-of-age debut novel by Pakistani author Naveed Iftikhar. I had the opportunity to work on the cover illustration for this wonderful project. The client’s initial idea was to visually capture a glimpse of Hira’s journey from the beginning of her story to its conclusion through a composition that brought together key elements of her experiences. We explored several concepts before refining them into the final direction, ultimately creating a visual that fused the strongest elements of each idea.     “Walid the Walrus Learns to Waddle,” published by Yuun.Mee, and developed with NotSoSnarky UK, tells the uplifting story of Walid, a young walrus who feels different because he struggles to waddle like others.
    My role in this project was to create expressive, character-driven illustrations that bring Walid’s journey to life and visually support the story’s message of confidence and perseverance.

    Little Pilgrims is a children’s book brand that focuses on diversity and teaching children in a fun and relatable way. The series follows the adventures of a family as they explore meaningful cultural and everyday experiences.
    My role in this project included book illustration, formatting, and concept development. Working on this series brought me great joy. Every step from character design to cultural details and visual elements which was developed with careful intention and research. The goal was to capture the true essence of environment and experience, its people, and everyday life in a way that children can easily connect with and remember.
