    The Pink Feather Brand Identity
View this project](https://www.twine.net/signin The Pink Feather is a private backyard speakeasy—lovingly dubbed the “Gar Bar”—created by my close friends in their garage. It's a passion project, not open to the public, and known for its high-quality cocktails, cozy atmosphere, and attention to detail. They wanted a brand that matched the thoughtfulness of the space and the guest experience, while incorporating personal touches and inside jokes only their circle would understand. I developed a full brand suite that included strategy, logo, custom illustrations, brand assets, color palette, typography, and print collateral like menus, coasters, matches, and an invitation card reminiscent of the Prohibition era. The name “The Pink Feather” came from the owner's fondness for flamingos—a quirky foundation I used to build a brand that’s part moody speakeasy, part tongue-in-cheek fun. The mascot is an illustrated flamingo with a fedora and a wavy neck, balancing silliness with vintage sophistication. I leaned into bold, retro-inspired typography and created taglines like “Birds of a feather drink together.” The brand imagery features vintage party photos from the Prohibition era, layered with grungy halftone textures. The color palette combines salmon, olive, and deep forest green, with neutral tones of black and creamy white to ground the identity. The result is a brand that feels elevated, intimate, and playful—just like the bar itself. It hits that sweet spot between polished and personal. My friends absolutely loved it and couldn’t wait to bring it to life across all their gatherings.
    Celina Wine Store Rebrand
View this project, along with a series of food illustrations representing their full menu beyond pizza. A bold retro-inspired color palette was pulled directly from the restaurant’s building and signage, tying the identity back to its physical roots. Finally, I applied the refreshed brand across collateral including menus, delivery bags, pizza boxes, coasters, gift cards, employee uniforms, and even a food truck concept. This system creates consistency and flexibility while keeping the hometown, retro vibe alive. The updated identity feels nostalgic yet fresh, capturing Celina Wine Store’s small-town charm while modernizing the brand for a digital-first world. It’s a refresh that locals would recognize instantly, but one that finally gives this beloved institution the backbone of a professional brand system.
    Caret Brand Identity
View the Project—a subtle nod to growth and direction—paired with a custom wordmark that feels bold and modern. To hint at their name (and the idea of “dangling the carrot”), we introduced orange and green as accent colors, keeping the core palette grounded in deep gray and off-white to maintain a tech-forward, professional feel. The design leans into a dark, minimalist aesthetic with line-based illustrations and extended, blocky type that reinforces clarity and confidence. The result is a brand that cuts through the noise—sleek, strategic, and intentionally different from typical lead-gen brands. Using our one-concept method, the Caret team signed off with minimal revisions and were thrilled with the final direction.
    The Collective Brand Identity
View the Project](https://www.twine.net/signin P1 Pet is a resource platform for entrepreneurs and startups in the pet-tech space, offering expert insights, connections, and inspiration for building innovative pet companies. With a large investor network and deep industry experience, they needed a brand and website that would appeal to their forward-thinking, tech-savvy audience—primarily ambitious 20–40-somethings looking to revolutionize the pet industry. Their goal was to create a digital space that felt both collaborative and cutting-edge, standing out from traditional pet brands while still feeling personable and curious. For this brand, I developed their brand strategy and full identity suite, including a logo, brand marks, color palette, typography, brand patterns, and a fully custom informational website. Since they were positioned at the intersection of pets and tech, the brand needed to balance warmth and personality with a sharp, future-forward aesthetic. The logo features a bold sans serif for a tech-driven feel, paired with a bright orange paw print icon. That paw icon was designed by merging a paw with a conversation bubble—signaling connection and community, two of their core values. The color palette leans into tech with dark navy and soft grey for structure, contrasted with a bright blue for energy and a vibrant orange for playful emphasis. The typography and iconography are clean and confident, but the brand doesn’t take itself too seriously—we added personality through quirky brand assets like a dog in a racing helmet mascot, hinting at the “F1 for pet-tech” positioning. Sharp angles and movement-based visuals add to the high-speed, innovation-forward feel. The final brand successfully reflected their values—knowledgeable, curious, and youthful—with just the right amount of charm. They were thrilled with the brand direction and excited to roll it out across their digital platforms as they build momentum in the pet-tech space.

    Clay Hills Creative Brand Identity
View the Project](https://www.twine.net/signin Clay Hills Creative was a one-woman interior styling service offering accessible, online advice for people looking to improve their living spaces. Clients could submit photos of a room, and in return, receive thoughtful mockups with styling suggestions using a mix of their existing decor and budget-friendly additions. With a warm, approachable vibe and the tagline “Everyone deserves a place they love to call home,” the founder wanted a brand that reflected her personal style and made design feel less intimidating for everyday folks. I created a brand identity that felt warm, welcoming, and grounded—mirroring the approachable nature of her styling service. The name Clay Hills naturally evoked a desert-inspired aesthetic, so I leaned into that with a soft, earthy color palette and a subtle nod to Arizona landscapes. The visual tone needed to feel elevated but never intimidating, so the brand strikes a balance between curated and casual. The logo system combines a hand-drawn script with a clean, rounded sans serif to reflect her personal touch and friendly style. Supporting elements like a custom pattern and flexible brand marks added personality and made it easy for her to carry the look across social graphics, email templates, and her DIY website. Because the service was entirely digital, the brand needed to do a lot of the heavy lifting—building trust quickly and positioning her as someone with great taste who wouldn’t overcomplicate the process. She loved how everything came together and felt the identity captured both her style and mission with clarity and charm.
