RevShop P1: E-commerce Platform Development
In the first phase of the RevShop project, I developed a secure, user-friendly e-commerce platform for buyers and sellers. My responsibilities included implementing features like user registration, login, product browsing, cart management, and checkout. For sellers, I developed modules for inventory management, order tracking, and real-time product notifications. Using Java, Spring Boot, JSP, and MySQL, I built a modular backend and intuitive frontend that enabled effective user interaction. This phase honed my skills in full-stack development, database management, and creating scalable, user-centric applications.
RevShop P2: Microservices Architecture and Cloud Deployment
In the second phase, I transitioned RevShop to a microservices architecture for enhanced scalability and resilience. I implemented an API Gateway with Spring Cloud Gateway for centralized routing and used Eureka for dynamic service discovery. By integrating Resilience4j, I enabled fault tolerance through circuit breakers, and configured Spring Cloud LoadBalancer for traffic management. For monitoring, I incorporated Prometheus, and deployed the microservices on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration. I also set up CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to automate deployment and updates. This project strengthened my expertise in microservices, cloud deployment, and DevOps practices, laying a solid foundation for building and managing distributed systems in production environment.
