Monika Patyra

I have several years of experience in motion design and animation, with a strong focus on educational and storytelling content for young audiences.

Most recently, I collaborated as an animator on several educational animated series for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, produced with a 12-person creative team. These include:

History Org Essentials
– a series of films teaching the skills essential for understanding social, historical, and economic concepts, including civic virtues. Appropriate for elementary students.

The Signers of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution
– a series exploring key documents, legal decisions, and moments in U.S. civics and government, created for middle and high school students.

My work involved storyboarding, creating assets, layered animation, and final compositing — all aligned with clear educational goals and visual style guides.

I primarily work in After Effects and Adobe Animate, with a strong understanding of character animation, timing, and consistency across episodes. I’m passionate about bringing stories to life in ways that inspire curiosity and connection in young audiences.

I’d love to learn more about your series and how I could contribute to your team.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards,
