I first got into voice over work back in 1987 because I thought it would be a fun thing to do. My first job was a paid gig voicing a commercial for a Mexican restaurant for a cable television provider in Dallas, Texas when a producer took a chance on a kid with zero experience. Not a bad first gig for a 17 year old! My radio career began as a producer for a Top 40 nationally syndicated satellite radio morning show back in 1988. Shortly after that I became a part-time DJ and eventually full time DJ for the Z-Rock Hard Rock/Heavy Metal nationally syndicated satellite radio station as an 18 year old.
