My professional music career began in San Francisco in when my first band caught the attention of legendary rock icon, Ronnie Montrose, who went on to produce our music. Relocating to Los Angeles in I started the band Jailhouse which was quickly signed to Capital Records and whose videos are still in rotation on VH1 Classic today. Soon after I worked with industry veteran, Randy Jackson, who signed my next band, Neve, to Columbia Records. Neve landed several spots on major national tours supporting top acts like KISS, Duran Duran, Rage Against The Machine, and The Black Crows, just to name a few. Neve's single scored a hit on the Billboard charts with the song, 'It's Over Now'. As a songwriter and producer, I then began securing work with high profile TV productions which eventually led to working with Disney/Hollywood Records and projects that included records for Hanna Montana and the Disney Mania Records. The success of these projects paved the way for further production and songwriting work with artists like “Busted” which went platinum! As a composer, I have written music that I can be heard in thousands of mainstream TV shows, commercials, and films. These include Marvel Cinematic Universe “Thor: Love and Thunder” , “A Working Man” with Jason Statham, “The Naked Gun” Liam Neeson , “Thats My Boy”, Adam Sandler. Also the Netflix hit series,“Stranger Things,” "Cobra kia"as well as, the main composer since 2012 for the popular CBS show, “The Price is Right." Was hired to compose on the a “Nike” ad for the Wold Cup which was called Footballverse. I was invited to record guitar on a new "Busted” greatest hits record that debut Number 1 on the Billboard charts in the UK. “MRM” which is Michael's own production music label which launched in 2025 with worldwide distribution! It premiered on Nightline on NBC.
