Steve Tatenda Junior Sabawo is a twenty-seven-year-old author and screenwriter. An accounts clerk by day and a writer by night, he is inspired by writing stories from his native Zimbabwe that reflect on the historical past and present, all in a bid to raise awareness for the country's culture, heritage and potential. Steve's love for writing begam just like any one else's - by reading good novels, and in time, he began to sharpen his own pen through countless manuscripts, two of them which have gone on to be accepted for publishing in the past twelve months alone. With enough self-taught knowledge and the arrogance to dream, he has managed to whip up 'First Street', a comedy script set in Harare 1987 which follows the lives of three best friends as they navigate the challenges and surprises of life in a country that just gained independence from it's colonial masters. As far as freelance work is concerned, Steve is ready to take on anything that requires both the most basic and most complex forms of putting words on a paper. From blogs, essays, novel manuscripts, screenplays, hell, even wedding vows and eulogies. So come on through, and let's get creative!
