I’m Christian Gérard, a Belgian composer born in 1971 and a Bastogne resident since 2001. I’m a professor of classical accordion, music theory, harmony and modern keyboards, trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Mons, and I teach at the Echternach music school in Luxembourg. Alongside teaching, I run MT PROD, my own music company founded in 2006, and I compose across many styles, with a special interest in sound illustration for film, advertising, video games and events. My work includes composition for the show "Epona" at the Royal Palace in 2009, numerous advertising and information campaigns, film scores such as "Coeur de Légende" in 2014", Like a Mark" in 2022, "Après l'ondé" in 2025, and music for radio, cities, and museum projects from 2014 to 2025. In 2002 I launched Le Chant des étoiles, a lullaby CD that sold over 13,000 copies and earned recognition from the Belgian Royal Palace and personalities such as Yves Duteil and Gilbert Montagne; since 2020 I’ve offered personalized lullabies under the My lullaby service. I also create teaching materials for music schools and conservatories, and continue to work on new projects including educational games and museum experiences.
