Hello, I’m Jose Gallardo, a composer, teacher, and researcher based in Medellín, Colombia. I work at the intersection of audiovisual and multimedia communication, developing courses and projects that fuse aesthetics with technology. I teach in the music department and in other programs on topics such as composition, structures of music 1, orchestration 1 and 2, and advanced timbral work, as well as integrated aesthetics and digital audio creation. In addition to teaching, I design and run sound creation laboratories, contribute to research on interactive media design and sound design, and collaborate with networks of music schools.
