I am a senior-level offline, online and stitch editor with comprehensive knowledge of post-production for broadcast. I am fully proficient in Avid systems, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects. I have experience working in both non-broadcast and broadcast formats, with Interplay, Lucid Link and other media cloud-based access systems. I am easy-going, creative, yet confident and forthcoming when mapping out project expectations and workflows. I create understandable timelines and deliver to specified guidelines, matching technical specifications and maintaining a consistent workflow. I have extensive experience training others (C4, C5, ITV, BBC) on Avid, FCP, Premiere and workflow, and have led several editors on various projects. Working with Police forces around the UK on cases from the past that were fascinating and out of the ordinary. With interviews with the police and the victims of the crimes. Following the cases from when the police first got involved and the eventual capture and prosecution of the criminals. Using interview and CCTV footage to build a picture of events.
The series followed cases of fraud from the initial incident, the police involvement and the insurance investigators. With interviews from the Investigators, police and audio from the fraudsters reporting and lies throughout. We followed the criminal investigation and prosecution of each case.
A primetime documentary series following some Strange and interesting people, doing amazing things. My role as Off-line editor was to create the stories for the series and stitch the show with the Series Producer, in preparation for Channel viewings, then make the changes and finalise for online.
