As a working musician, I have strong connections within local music communities and a practical understanding of artist needs, including scheduling, technical coordination, and clear communication. This informs how I curate and support performers, with a focus on creating a well-organized and welcoming experience. I currently serve as Creative Producer for Gathering Our Voices, where I curate the entertainment for opening and closing ceremonies, plenary events and 100+ workshops for over 1800 youth delegates. This role also involves proper budget responsibilities, coordinating venues, supporting travel and scheduling logistics, and working closely with event, production, and logistics teams to deliver a strong multi-day event. I also serve as Artistic Director and Festival Coordinator for the Gwa’yi Music Festival in Kingcome Inlet. In this role, I curate musical programming, coordinate artist travel and accommodations, prepare event schedules, and manage on-site logistics in a remote community. This work requires strong planning, adaptability, and collaboration with artists, technicians, and community partners.
