Took full initiative to design and implement a robust test automation framework from scratch using Serenity/JS, Cucumber, Playwright, and TypeScript, leveraging the Screenplay design pattern. Built and maintained over 400 UI and 150 API automated tests, integrated into a CI/CD pipeline for fast feedback and high reliability. Established connectivity with CosmosDB to facilitate test data setup and runtime validation. Achieved a 50% reduction in manual testing effort and regression cycle time. Worked proactively to ensure quality at every level of development; performed manual testing as part of sprint activities.

Onboarding revealed major QA gaps: no traceability from epics to bugs, no structured test repository, inconsistent manual test cases, minimal Dev–QA collaboration, and no exploratory testing. Took initiative to define missing QA processes: refinement, bug triage, test design/execution, regression maintenance, and clearer DoR/DoD tailored to team needs. Enriched and maintained the existing Cypress + Cucumber automation framework, expanding UI/API coverage in parallel with sprint delivery. Organized exploratory testing sessions to capture edge cases earlier and reduce escaped defects. Launched the COWOW initiative (Changing Our Way of Working) to address weaknesses, improve collaboration, and establish continuous QA improvements.
