Hi, I’m Nachiket Kalbhande, a Designer and Visual Development Artist based in Vancouver. I specialize in creating immersive backgrounds and assets for 2D and CG projects, and I use Blender to build 3D bases that speed up turnaround times. I’ve contributed to projects for Netflix, Mattel, and LINE, and I studied at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, followed by a Senior Exchange at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
I enjoy shaping stories through environment design, lighting, props, and matte paintings, and I work across 2D and CG styles. My recent roles include background painting for unannounced short films and games, with experience at Kickstart Entertainment, and Atomic Cartoons. I’m always excited to collaborate on new projects and bring fresh visuals to life.
