    paper PAUS 2024

Paus means rain in Marathi (and is very similar to the word “Pavas” in Konkani). We named ourselves Paus because it encapsulates the joy, familiarity and feeling of home we associate with the monsoons in Goa.

As Paus turns a year old, here is a small film that celebrates the life force that is the monsoon.

Most of the sounds in this film were sourced from our own collection of field recordings, which made this project even more special.

    Animation: Saket Ghaisas
