I did my internship at BATES and after started working in the commercial department of EDITORIAL PRESENÇA (a publisher), then I worked in CRIATIZA, then ACCESSIS from NOVO DESIGN GROUP (today it is called BRANDIA) and after that a studio called SUMO. Then I started working at OFICINA DO LIVRO that later on was integrated by LEYA where I was part of the team for 13 years. I'm an independent book designer since 2018. After some years working in Advertising Agencies doing Graphic Design I finally found my path working in a little publisher that was then integrated in a big group of publishers. My experience comes from working for different publishers, different genres inside this big group where I worked for 13 years. I do the book cover design and sometimes I’m asked to do the pagination inside too, so I also have experience in that field. Trying to find a balance between what I think is the best choice and what the market is asking in that particular moment, the sellers demands, the editors vision - experiences of successes and disappointments, last but not least the author likes and dislikes wich I respect a lot, these are my goals. When everybody is happy and comfortable with the result, my job is done.
