Niall Queenan graduated in 2012 from the National Film School in Ireland with a Master's in Screenwriting for Film & Television. In 2015, ‘THE HIT PRODUCER,’ a micro-budget crime thriller that he wrote and co-produced, received a limited theatrical release in Ireland. He subsequently won the Gold Prize in the Thriller/Horror category of the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards for his spec noir thriller, ‘NEXT OF KIN’. His contributions as the writer's assistant on ‘RED ROCK’, the multi-award-winning Irish police drama, led to a storyliner position for its final season in 2018. Niall was hired as the writer's assistant on season one of MGM/Netflix’s 'VIKINGS' spin-off series, 'VIKINGS: VALHALLA', working alongside showrunner Jeb Stuart (Die Hard, The Fugitive). His contributions to the first season led to his being hired to write episodes for the second season, which premiered on Netflix in 2023.
