    Built ivyprotocol.com from the ground up, transforming design specs into an SEO optimised, fully interactive experience including custom micro-interactions. For this freelance project, I wore the developer’s hat and was responsible for bringing the designer’s work to life into a responsive website. At the time, if plugins like “Figma to HTML” existed, they weren’t reliable and therefore accurate documentation was essential to replicate expected behaviour and animations. A lot of effort was put into the kinematics of the micro-interactions; they had to have the perfect speed of movement, trigger timing and seamless transitions to ensure an intuitive and delightful user experience. The project started with an in-depth understanding of the client’s objectives with the website, establishing requirements, communications channels and maintain constant alignment through weekly check-ins.     2zero is a mobile app helping employees in companies and municipalities reduce personal carbon footprints. They wanted to create a fully-fledged app, had a working MVP, but engagement was low. The UX was inconsistent, and the product lacked a clear system to scale. My job was to rethink the mobile experience, introduce a scalable design system, and support the web presence for launch. The existing branding needed refinement, so that's where I started before introducing the team to a molecular design system and use that to inform decisions and improve usability and engagement issues.
