Songwriter, Music Producer, & Performer for legendary R&B Group 24-Carat Black

I had the privilege of writing and producing new music with some of the members of the legendary group ‘24-Carat Black,’ the subject of a podcast miniseries I produced.

I highly recommend listening to the podcast to get the whole story, but to be brief, 24-Carat Black was a hyper-talented funk/R&B group from the early 70s that disbanded when Stax Records went bankrupt. Since then, the group’s music has had a second life from rap sampling by the likes Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, and many more.
