I’m Nicolas Karatzas, a filmmaker and cinematographer driven by a creative problem-solving approach and a clear vision to capture moments that reach beyond the frame and time. Cinematography, to me, is about drawing the audience into something that exists beyond what is on screen and in the sequence of time.

Based between Berlin and Cyprus, I collaborate on short films, podcasts, documentaries, commercials, and educational projects across Europe, bringing hands-on camera skills, on-set production experience, and post-production services, along with a keen eye for colour and storytelling, to every project. With a ready-to-make-it-happen mindset, I can create your story or help you develop it from pre-production to Post-production.
