Industry Experience

Media & Entertainment
    paper No Oxygen

This short film told the story of a couple falling apart amid the discovery of a dark secret. Donning the director’s cap was an interesting twist for me. I worked with a wonderful team who helped me define the look and feel of this tense film.

paper In Balanchine's Classroom (Feature Documentary)

This was a complicated story covering the latter years of George Balanchine “The Father of American Ballet”. I was brought onto this project later in the editing process by Producer/Director Connie Hochman to assist with story development and editing. Working alongside editor Anne Fratto, we helped Connie achieve her vision for the film.

paper Basketball: A Love Story (Documentary Television Series

Working as one of the lead editors and a producer on the project, we delved deeply into the story of basketball under the guidance of Producer/Director Dan Klores, across a remarkable series of 20 one-hour episodes. Helping Dan achieve his vision for the series was an intense journey of almost four years and in the end, extremely rewarding.

    paper Wrenched (Feature Documentary)

I was deeply immersed in the storytelling for this passion-driven film by first time Producer/Director ML Lincoln. The story was about the early days of eco-activism led by Edward Abbey and his cohorts. I wrote the narration, crafted the film’s structure and story, and helped ML fulfill her vision. Also acting as Music Supervisor, I built the film’s score with stock music of original bands under Konsonant, a site dedicated to original music, and collaborated with composer Andrew Gross as he wrote a theme and transitional elements to tie the score together.

paper Greedy Lying Bastards (Feature Documentary)

Collaborated closely with Producer/Director Craig Rosebraugh on a timely documentary addressing climate change denial by playing multiple roles as Producer, Co-Writer, and Editor. We effectively communicated the urgency and significance of the topic by weaving the truth shown by archival and scientific evidence, with the denialism of the skeptics and their falsely presents ‘facts’.

    paper Bill W. (Feature Documentary)

Partnered with Producer/Director Dan Carracino and Kevin Hanlon on this inspiring story of Bill Wilson, the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. As first-time directors, Dan and Kevin had already been through a first cut of the film and found it wasn’t the story they wanted to tell. Together we reshaped the story to follow their original vision. The film was scored with selections I made from the awe-inspiring Bach Cello Suites performed by YoYo Ma. Working together with the talented composer Gil Talmi was a pleasure as he created the theme and that worked beautifully alongside the Bach Cello Suites.

paper Heart of the Bear (Feature Documentary)

Collaborated with Producer/Director Daniel Marracino on this film about an isolated mountain man during the pandemic who found a following on Facebook helping people deal with the isolation of the pandemic. Acted as primary storyteller, transforming the director’s follow doc-style, resulting in an engaging narrative for the film.

    paper Unraveling

I worked as an editor with Director Rich Devaney on this short film about a mother in crisis and how her estranged daughter comes back into her life to try and help.

    paper Commercials

Collaborate extensively with Sarah Zusi, the driving force behind Z Tribeca. Participating in diverse political campaigns, brand ads, and web pieces with Z.
