Hello, I'm Paula a freelance graphic designer based in Girona, Spain, and founder of Arctype Studio. My work centers on building visual identities with a clear point of view: brands that communicate who they are through design that's precise, relevant, and unmistakably theirs. Branding and visual identity are where I focus most, though the work naturally spills into packaging, editorial design, digital content, social media, campaigns, web design, signage, and brand applications. What I enjoy most is watching a single idea travel across formats until it becomes a full, coherent brand experience. I've worked with clients across very different industries and project scales, and that variety has shaped how I approach new work, staying open, and adapting the process to what each brand or collaboration actually needs rather than forcing a fixed formula. As a freelancer, I work independently but collaborate often with studios, agencies, brands, and other creatives. I join projects at whatever stage makes sense: building an identity from zero, supporting direction that's already been set, or stepping in for specific design needs within a larger team. The projects I gravitate toward are the ones with room to think where there's space to develop ideas and land on something with real visual personality. Craft matters to me, but so does the reasoning behind it: understanding what a brand needs to say before deciding how it should look.
