I’m Paul Dominique Rimando — a photographer, videographer, video editor, storyteller, and full-time survivor of low storage warnings.
I turn random clips into cinematic moments and somehow convince people their ordinary day looks like a Netflix documentary.
My daily life mostly revolves around my Computer, editing timelines, caffeine, and pretending “final_final_v5.mp4” is truly the final version.
I can spend hours perfecting a five-second transition that most people won’t even notice, and honestly, I’m okay with that.
When I watch movies, at times I don’t just enjoy them — I analyze the cuts, color grading, sound design, and camera movements like it’s a school exam.
I’ve would master the art of looking calm outside while internally panicking over render times and missing footage.
People think video editing is just clicking buttons, but sometimes it feels like emotional damage with background music - cinematic.
I can turn a normal morning coffee into a cinematic ad, a camping trip into an adventure film, and a simple event into something people actually remember.
Most of my best ideas arrive at the worst possible hours, usually when I’m supposed to be sleeping, going to the market or on a long drive.
I believe good storytelling can make people shocked, laugh / cry, feel inspired, or stop scrolling for a few seconds in a world addicted to noise.
And somewhere between the chaos, deadlines, and endless revisions, I’m just a creative guy trying to make meaningful things frame by frame.
When I am not in my workroom, I’m either in the kitchen trying out my version of a new recipe or pitching tent with my family on our favorite campsite, having coffee with friends or in a Netflix Marathon at home.
