An architect by profession, Philippe Boisier (Paris, 1974) has channeled his interests toward creative fields such as music and audiovisual production from a very young age. His childhood in Chile was strongly influenced by his surroundings, where architects, musicians, painters, filmmakers, and photographers shared a sensitivity for nature. His grandfather, Juan Echenique, was a prominent Chilean architect, watercolorist, and mountaineer. All of this led Philippe, from a very young age, to experiment with the arts and also to take an interest in remote places. As a musician, he has been active since 1990, participating in various projects in Chile and France, and producing his own music under the name Icalma, releasing three albums to date. He has composed soundtracks for film, television, and art installations. He runs the studio Improbable Films, producing sound for podcasts, exhibitions, musical projects, and audiovisual projects. His interest in exploration, history, and research has motivated him to study the Andes Mountains and Patagonia and their influence on Latin American culture, conducting multiple interviews, traveling throughout the region, and getting to know its landscapes and inhabitants. This has resulted in the publication of essays, documentaries, lectures, and audiovisual pieces. His recent audiovisual work, the trilogy "La Montaña Imaginaria" (The Imaginary Mountain, 2024), explores the unlikely encounters between scientists, artists, and climbers in Chile, rescuing the stories of the survivors of the epic adventures of the 1960s. --- **Employment and project experience** **Music Producer** NO+STUDIO. _August 1998- Dec 2016 **Film Maker, Content Creator, Music Producer** Improbable Films. _March 2022- **Architect** Boisier Arquitectura y Gestión. –March 2007- Dec 2019 **Architect** Labo-ARQ. –Jan 2020-
