Pete attended the prestigious National Film School in the U.K. His graduation film, THE CANDY SHOW won a BAFTA for best short film.   BILL & TED'S BOGUS JOURNEY was Pete's feature film debut. The following year he directed the two hour pilot episode of the Oliver Stone produced mini-series WILD PALMS starring James Belushi and Kim Cattrall. Other feature films include TOM & HUCK, WHATEVER HAPPENED TO HAROLD SMITH?; the fun, cult British comedy THUNDERPANTS; GARFIELD voiced by Bill Murray; ZOOM with Tim Allen, and THE MAIDEN HEIST with Morgan Freeman, Christopher Walken, William H. Macy and Marcia Gay Harden. For television he has also directed TALES FROM THE CRYPT: CONFESSION with Eddie Izzard and Ciaran Hinds, the award winning PRINCESS OF THIEVES with Keira Knightley and Malcolm McDowell, HOME ALONE: THE HOLIDAY HEIST, MOSTLY GHOSTLY: HAVE YOU SEEN MY GHOULFRIEND and CHRISTMAS AT THE PALACE.
