I have worked as an EU Project Manager for the University of Foggia, and now I currently manage EU-funded projects for SMARTED SRL, an IT company that develops learning technologies based in Naples, and for the Developmental Psychology Laboratory at LUMSA University, based in Rome. I hold the same position in both a public institution and a private company, a role that allows me to understand the strengths and weaknesses of both types of organizations. I work with university research staff (professors, researchers, doctoral students) and IT professionals from companies across Europe, coordinating project activities with the aim of achieving the expected results, while meeting objectives and deadlines. I have developed writing skills for project proposals and budget definition (from 125k to 1M€), producing Gantt charts and commitment tables. I manage projects with full human availability for all partners and people involved, using tools such as Asana, Trello, Slack, and Discord to track activities, their development, and deadlines. I know how to use and manage documents on the EU online platform such as Erasmus+ and Solidarity Corps, Funding and Tenders Portal, and Eu Academy. I use Google Workspace and MS Office on a daily basis, as well as AI-based creative software such as Canva, Gamma, ChatGPT, Mentimeter, Kahoot, and Quizziz. More specifically, during my PhD, I studied, researched, and taught in the fields of special and experimental education. I conducted research on innovative teaching methods for students with typical and atypical neurological development and for students with special educational needs, focusing on how to provide teachers with innovative methods and strategies to address the individual needs of each student. I spent six months as a visiting scholar at the Tromsø campus of the Arctic University of Norway, conducting research and collecting data for my doctoral thesis. I have been able to manage and pursue this type of professional and educational experience thanks to the project management skills and theoretical background I acquired during more than ten years of higher education: I hold a bachelor's degree in Political Science, a master's in International Development and Cooperation (La Sapienza, Rome), and a postgraduate master's degree in European Project Management, and several courses on project management methodology (Project Cycle Management, Theory of Change, PM2, PM2Agile). I have planned trips for large group of people in different European Countries for staff exchange, supervising the training design with the staff of the hosting institutions. I have connections with universities or companies in Spain, Danmark, Norway, Finland, Poland, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Austria, The Nederlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Malta, Ukraine.
