Pierre Mendola is an award-winning French musician and composer for short films, animations, and documentaries.
He scored over a dozen films and worked in advertising. He blends genre with his unique strong background in jazz, classical music and electronics.
Notable works include Sorry For Your Loss by Courtney Karwal (LA Shorts International Film Festival 2025), Grain by Ilana Zackon (Fantasia International Film Festival 2025) , Loulou by Marie Medevielle (Cannes Short Film Corner 2023), and advertising campaign for Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2022.
Pierre collaborates with prestigious schools: Gobelins, Fresnoy, ArtFX and ESMA, and was part of the Marseille Music & Cinema Festival Masterclass 2025, under the direction of Erwann Kermorvant.
He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from McGill University and won 1st prize in the 2021 Montreal International Film Scoring Competition.
