I was born and raised in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. As a second child, I first found music appealing watching my older brother learn the piano. In my late grade school to early middle school years, I took up piano lessons as well as joined the middle school band to learn the cornet/trumpet. Being in band, I was expanding my scope of music I enjoyed. From Classical, to Classic Rock, Folk, and Pop, I began learning the basics of each. Continuing my cornet playing through high school, I eventually learned about live sound a few years after graduating and really became intrigued with music. For about 2 years, I ran sound for my church youth group and eventually started helping run live sound for the main congregation. It was at this point I started buying my first professional sound system and DJ equipment to which I still have today. Since then, I have done everything from run/mix live sound for a small Christian Rock band, to some entry-level DJing. In 2008, I married the love of my life. After moving a few different times, we finally settled in the Portland metro area in 2019. Most recently, I have received my Associate Degree in the Music Production program through LA Film School where I excelled with a 4.0 GPA (highest honors). Since graduating, I have re-enrolled at LA Film School, working towards my Bachelor of Science in Audio Production. Some of my inspirations are Mike Shinoda, Michael Jackson, N’Sync, Hillsong, Rebecca St. James, Jeremy Camp, and Timbaland. I recently released my fourth single called Dance Like No One Is Watching which is available now on my website and most streaming platforms. Although I'm not set on any genre at this point, I'm really into Hip Hop, Pop, Dance, and Electronic music.
