How will I be paid for a job?

US bank transfer (ACH), UK bank transfer (Faster Payments), EU bank transfer (SEPA), International wire transfer (SWIFT, wire), Payoneer and PayPal.

We validate client payment before each project commences, and freelancers are issued payment within 14 days of project closure.

Does Twine charge a fee to work on jobs?

No, there are no fees to sign up to Twine.

Twine Pro members receive additional benefits including the ability to apply to more jobs. Twine Pro members pay no transaction fees when hired on jobs. Read more.

Do I have to pay anything upfront?

Each job can receive one application from a free account. To apply to a job, that has already received aapplications, as a free user you will need to upgrade to Twine Pro.

How do payments work?

To secure you for work, the client can be asked to make an upfront payment. Either pay the full value of the job quoted by you, or an agreed upon milestone schedule for them to pay smaller amounts incrementally.

What if the job does not work out?

In the rare event a job doesn’t work out, we’ll refer to your agreed terms with the client. If you met the terms of the agreement, we’ll release any held payments.

Can you be hired on a day rate?

Yes. We recommend you calculate an amount based on the length of time that it will take you to complete it and your usual day rate. Discuss with your client and set terms to work on day or hourly rates.

Can I cancel a Pro subscription?

Yes, of course. You can cancel at any time on the monthly or annual subscription. Your account will still be active until the billing cycle you already paid for ends.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit, debit cards and PayPal.

How will I be billed for Pro?

We will start billing your credit card on a monthly basis after your purchase. You can cancel your subscription any time.
