Hi, I’m Aroha Hatha Way. I’ve spent more than three decades in media, arts and communications across radio, television, and film, contributing to the broadcasting landscape in a variety of roles from producer and board member to announcer, talent manager and actor. I’ve also built a substantial voice-work portfolio for brands, animation and radio. Currently I’m with SportNation as a News Editor, Sub-Editor and on-air presenter, and I’ve held leadership and governance roles with Today FM (RadioLive), Newshub, and Iwi Radio. I’m passionate about mentoring, funding infrastructure in NZ’s arts sector, te reo Māori and tikanga, and using storytelling to support communities and mental health initiatives.
