The freelancers we use in our Design Studio are comfortable using Photoshop CC, Illustrator and AfterFX with Cinema 4D or Maya a bonus but not essential. The work is predominantly executing animations (designed and art directed by senior members of the Design team) so strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills are essential. In addition, being able to draw/storyboard, develop character designs or an interest in typography are all useful characteristics that may be required depending on the needs of the job.
