Presentation Designer

Designer is needed in Costa Mesa, United States.

Simple Science is seeking an experienced presentation designer to create corporate leadership presentation. This candidate will have significant experience creating beautiful and engaging PowerPoint and/or Keynote presentations, with strategic layout, creative design and tasteful transitions & animations.

You’ll be expected to

• Understand the story being told in the presentation, what the key messages are and what to emphasize
• Work directly with clients on reviewing content for presentations
• Conceptualize and create layouts for presentations
• Apply brand systems, typography, photography, color and other design elements appropriately to create innovative solutions that meet client needs
• Possess strong conceptual skills, a high-level sense of design, and offer a variety of design solutions
• Retouch and clip/mask images
• Create mockups and production of final output
• Professional, efficient, organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain positive and supportive work environment

What’s required

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
• A minimum of 3-5 years, post education with presentation design experience (web, print, digital design a plus)
• Advanced knowledge of typography (font proportion, spacing, weight)
• Expert proficiency in current Mac versions of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Expertise using Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Apple Keynote (animation experience is a plus)
• Effective in working under tight deadlines, prioritizing issues and managing concurrent assignments
• Attention to detail while working with multiple projects
• Great communication skills
• Team player and willingness to learn
• Travel to various client locations if needed (about 10-25%)
