Designer is needed in Fairfield, United States.

Growing communications company with new influx of work seeks design and marketing creative to join our team. On site freelance with potential for staff position.

The right candidate should be prepared to work in a deadline-oriented environment; have excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills; show attention to detail and be a team player.

Required Skills

• Strong logo design, understanding of branding, outstanding page layout skills
• Ability to handle large publication and PowerPoint deck work
• Website design experience, focusing on front-end and practical user experience
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of objectives and ability to develop practical solutions
• Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment and deliver work on deadline.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe CC Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) After Effects, Premiere Pro, PowerPoint and WordPress)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Work experience (3 years minimum) in an agency/studio environment - design and production in print and digital
• Ability to work within budget and make design decisions accordingly
• Work creatively under pressure, respecting deadlines and managing work schedule to meet them

Key Responsibilities

• Create digital and print media from concept through completion
• Ensure work meets brand guidelines
• Stay current in all pertinent software
• Ability to communicate work effectively and accept constructive feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field or Associate’s degree with a portfolio demonstrating creative potential.
• Portfolio demonstrating creative & strategic ability.
• Applicants who fail to link or attach their portfolio will not be considered.
