Developers at BeSide build robust, creative software applications in a fast paced development environment. You might help build creative touchscreen experiences one day, a social-media linked video capture experience the next, and robust mission-critical show control systems the day after that. Developers at BeSide are intimately involved in the entire process and enjoy a tight-knit collaborative environment. Reliability is also a cornerstone of our brand and this extends to the level of stability our clients demand from our technical solutions. BeSide developers are tasked with building complex interconnected applications that will work 24/7 in permanent installation environments and to work creatively and responsively with internal and external collaborators on event-specific interactive experiences. We also expect very high standards in terms of organization both in your process and in your code.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong organizational skills are a must as is a desire to work in a creative but technically rigorous environment.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience or a four-year college degree in a related field is required.
• You must have expert-level TouchDesigner and Python development skills, experience with social media or similar API integrations, GIT, and experience working in a team development environment.
• Experience with web development, AWS, AR/VR tools, physical computing, embedded systems, mobile development, and UI/UX design are plusses.
• If you have strong independent problem solving skills, a desire to help shape a small but growing company, and a willingness to get your hands dirty from time to time, you might be who we’re looking for.
