My name is James Homer, I am currently a student filmmaker with a background in professional videography and photography work. I am a writer and a director.

Currently I am casting for a short film called “Arabic Blue”, which is about a young woman who reconnects with her estranged artist father at his latest exhibition. The role I am looking to cast is for the father, a man named Russell North, who while brilliant, is also a raging egotist. Looking to salvage his relationship with his daughter, Russell is a man who believes he has reformed, but is still wracked with a toxic narcissism. The age of this role is somewhere between 40 and 50.

Shooting of this film is to take place early in 2022 - as it is for a Film course the dates are flexible and I will update this post when I know more.

Even though this is a minimal budget film, I am prepared to pay a reasonable hourly wage. I am committed to providing a wage that an actor will be comfortable with, as I understand that I am asking for your labour, and no one should work for an amount that is not satisfactory to them. I am open to discuss this at any time, please just contact me.
