The Door on Mott

Writing a comic to pitch on Kickstarter or to an indie publisher (i.e. Image). To begin, I want to initially commission 5-10 pages [1-5 panels each] in color and a cover page. I’d like to work with someone who would be open to staying on board for the remainder of the story.

Deadline would be end of September or sooner

Initial story centers around a young person who moves into an apartment on the corner of Mott & Pell in NYC. Across the street is a red door that turns out to be a portal to an unknown world. At one point the door is open and the character steps inside and is soon falling through the sky into an ocean near a mountainous tropical island. This leads to the character taking part in a series of survival games where only a handful make it through to the next door.

I have the first pages visually mapped out and can discuss over zoom.
