MELON: Game Developer required for Roblox platform (Remote)

Location: Remote
Contract: Full-time

Game Developers at MELON are responsible for helping produce some of the coolest collaborative gaming experiences on the Roblox platform. As a game developer, you will be working from extensive blueprint documents provided by our game design division. These game projects range from 2-6 months each and require full-time availability to produce the best work possible. You will be expected to work as part of a larger team consisting of programmers, artists and producers to develop Roblox games and experiences that are not only bug free but also fun and addictive to play.

Requirements:

• 4+ Years Working With LUA, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
• 2+ Years working with Unreal Engine, Roblox Studio, or similar.
• Deep understanding of game development fundamentals
• Experience working with Git
• Ability to develop both basic and complex systems.
• Ability to work as part of a larger team
• Ability to understand existing codebases and modify/enhance them
• Ability to fluently communicate in English via Text and Voice
