Set designer to create hospital rooms

Set Designer is needed in New York, United States.

I am looking for a set designer or art director to provide me with a quote for some work that I am pitching for.

The work relates to a project that will ask patients and doctors to simulate a day in hospital to help a company improve the experience.

As part of the set design we are looking for help creating two rooms. A waiting room and a clinic / doctor’s room. Although we don’t need to go for total hospital immersion, some work to create more of a hospital feel, rather than generic office vibe would be appreciated.

In terms of what would be included in the waiting room, we were thinking of piping in ambient hospital noise, including appropriate hospital leaflets, signs and references to the hospital care team (e.g. make belief doctors and nurses), signs to other areas of the hospital.

For the clinic room we would need some appropriate medical paraphernalia / props to simulate assessments (e.g. blood draw equipment, ECG, medical bed, desks to complete paperwork)

Other ideas and recommendations are also welcome!

The simulations would take place in New York City so a NYC based freelancer would probably work best.

We would be looking to complete this work towards the middle of June.
