We’re seeking a motivated freelance Video promotional Editor to provide leadership and play a key role on our Creative Team. The Video Editor must be an expert in telling stories via video, with experience in video production and visual storytelling.

PURPOSE:

The Graphics/Video Editor will provide a variety of graphic and video editing work and creative concepts for the station and, our brands, Provides video ads and promotional material for the TV station.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Utilize industry-standard editing and motion graphics software (Premiere, After Effects, etc.) to create on-brand video content
• Provide ideas and graphic translation of ideas during brainstorming meetings
• Work with creative teams to create emotionally engaging content from scripts, storyboards, and both new and existing assets
• Stay on top of the latest trends in storytelling, video production.
• Maintain creative files and folders: including stock photography, logos, and client design projects
• High proficiency in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere
• Experience with Adobe After Effects and motion graphics preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ years of work experience in Motion Graphic Design

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to speak and write Spanish fluently

• 1 year of video editing experience
• Assists with in-house studio productions including filming infomercials, commercials, TV shows, webinars, YouTube, and other social media videos
• Assists with in-house studio productions including filming infomercials, commercials, TV shows.
• High proficiency in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Experience with Adobe After Effects and motion graphics preferred
• A high level of expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects
• Strong knowledge and technical background in Motion Graphics Design and Video Editing
• Must be able to use a PC
• Must possess a strong sense of concept development, in addition to communicating a concept verbally and written
• Must be familiar with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must be able to accept new responsibilities and respond positively to instructions and creative direction
• Must possess strong, professional verbal and written communication skills
