About the Performance: H is getting married and her Hen’s day is on 3 June. Unfortunately, all of her bridesmaids cannot be there as they are all overseas, so the 3 bridesmaids would like to send Franck the wedding planner from Father of the Bride to make an appearance at the Hens. (He is one of her favourite characters of all time so this is just perfect).

Performance time 2-2:30pm
Venue: Salt Meats Cheese, Circular Quay
Event Type: Hen’s Lunch

Performance Length: 30 mins. Comedic improv style theatre. There will be a loose script to follow but actor mainly needs to interact with the guests.

Required:
Comedian to impersonate Franck Eggelhoffer the extravagant flamboyant wedding planner from the movie “Father of The Bride”. Ideally someone who looks like Martin Short. See image and youtube link.

We imagine that Franck will appear in character and in costume and walk through the restaurant looking for the Hen with his leather clipboard disrupting the Hen’s table conversation. It will be a surprise for the hen. Franck will discuss wedding details with The Hen while also involving the 2 mothers of the bride and The Hen’s sisters and some improv around the table with the other Hens.

Audience: There will be approx 20 people at the Hen’s lunch including the Hen’s 2 sisters, her mum and mother in-law to be. There will also be other patrons in the restaurant but the actor should only interact with the hens table.
