Independent Contractor | Per Project Basis

Purpose:

The Freelance Video editor assists the communications department by providing video editing servicesQualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Film/Video Production/Communications or equivalent is preferred but not required
• A minimum of one-year experience in a video production position is required.
• Creativity / strong editorial problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite products, with an emphasis on Premiere Pro and Audition
• Maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality and demonstrate a good work ethic

Values and Beliefs:

• Must be a professing Christian who affirms the Calvary Church doctrinal basis, vision and values, and philosophy of ministry

Responsibilities:

• Edit baptism testimonial videos, promotional videos, and training videos
• Synchronize audio and video
• Edit audio in Adobe Audition to increase clarity and match the loudness
• Create and edit captions
