The Producer with Broadcast Production oversees the production process, creative process, financial management, design implementation, client interface, and all other aspects of a radio, TV, and/or multimedia broadcast production!

You will report to the Managing Producer for Broadcast Production

Responsibilities/You Will

• Guide the Broadcast Production team to ensure execution of creative intent delivered on schedule and on budget
• Develop and manage Production Managers and other key support personnel for all broadcast projects
• Continually monitor project status as to timelines, schedules, budgets, scope, updates, and meetings, and adjust as necessary to keep on time and on budget
• Manage, guide, coach, communicate and arbitrate the creative process and content
• Budget, negotiate, implement, and plan the production and operating processes
• Challenge and motivate team members to identify and incorporate strategies that support the Entertainment product and enhance the value of the Guest’s experience
• Oversee multiple projects at any moment and have skills to delegate with confidence knowing the project will be handled appropriately

Basic Qualifications/You Will Have

• Minimum 8 years of experience in team leadership, broadcast production, and/or technical fields
• Minimum 5 years of management experience
• Ability to negotiate, organize, provide direction, and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
• Demonstrate aptitude for creative collaboration and partnering
• Proven experience with Walt Disney World collective bargaining agreements
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and delegation skills
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including hours, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications/You Will Have

• Proven Entertainment operational management experience within Walt Disney Entertainment
• Hands-on experience with telecommunications, transmissions, and broadcast equipment
• Broadcast production experience outside the Walt Disney Company
• Proven Broadcast industry contacts and relationships with key partners, contractors, and vendors

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree in broadcast, communication, and/or technical field or equivalent experience
