Overview and Responsibilities:

CBS Sports Marketing and Social are seeking a Social Marketing Producer to concept, write, produce, and edit social marketing content for CBS Sports. This producer will create social assets for NFL, Golf, College Football, and College Basketball. The CBS Sports Marketing team is responsible for marketing all CBS Sports events and shows on any platform. The CBS Sports Social Media team creates and distributes all content posted from CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network, and CBS Sports Digital’s social media channels.

In a sports media landscape that’s cluttered with noise, we take pride in building innovative creative that cuts through with our audience and represents the values of our brand. The Social Marketing Producer will play a key role in promoting CBS Sports’ priorities on the brand’s social channels. Whether driving tune-in for games on CBS/CBS Sports Network/Paramount+, signups for CBSSports.com’s bracket game, or downloads of our CBS Sports app, the candidate will cover a range of projects. The Social Marketing Producer will be responsible for creating social marketing content that promotes CBS Sports events on all platforms.

This is a Remote opportunity*

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Write and pitch social marketing concepts internally
• Work closely with CBS Sports Marketing team to ensure creative meets marketing goals
• Collaborate with CBS Sports Social Media team to ensure marketing content has high likelihood of cutting through with audience
• Create social assets from soup to nuts with occasional help from editors and designers
• Build social marketing plans for tentpole events, such as the Super Bowl

Basic Qualifications:

• Passion and knowledge of sports
• Experience creating content that cuts through on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter
• Expertise editing video via Adobe Premiere
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work under fast turnaround times
• Willingness to work occasional weekend shifts
• Degree qualification for Production, Design, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, or equivalent

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
