The Video Editor will be a member of the Penn Engineering Online Instructional Design team and be responsible for assembling recorded video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating polished projects that accurately reflect the Penn brand. The editor will support the post-production needs of high-quality and high-capacity online courses, marketing videos, and special school projects. This worker will report to the Senior Video Producer.
Responsibilities include:
- Review, edit, and upload course video footage
- Create motion graphics and simple animations
- Review stock footage and identify and/or create potential b-roll
- Assist with video file organization
- Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques and 2-3 years editing experience
- Experience with full Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop and Lightroom. Audio Sync & Multi cam sequences
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Can work according to a strict time schedule
